Through his previous career in electronics sales, he developed the skills of probing and uncovering needs to find the right product for the individual, and it taught him to listen, analyze, and find a solution. That experience also ensured that he is tech-savvy and very comfortable with the many digital tools necessary to real estate searches and sales.

Essential to Terry’s success has been his belief that “Smart people do not know everything – they know where to go to get the answers!” This was a principal reason for choosing Heritage Texas Properties as his brokerage, relying upon the company’s many resources and decades of knowledge and experience. It’s certainly not hard to understand where Terry gets his tenacious spirit. A fourth generation Houstonian who grew up in Sugar Land, his father is a Captain with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, his grandfather is a Captain in the Houston Fire Department and his great grandfather was the oldest firefighter in the City of Houston, who also helped establish the Houston Fire Firefighters Federal Credit Union.

While focused on close-in neighborhoods like Meyerland and the Heights, Terry is happy to show and sell all over greater Houston. His ultimate goal, he says, is to one day become a successful investor in multi-unit residential housing. Since he says that the best advice he ever got was that, “You cannot hope that you will be successful, you must KNOW that you will be successful and, with determination, the rest will fall into place,” one shouldn’t doubt that he will reach that goal.
